Habit AI Privacy Policy
The short version: Habit AI has no accounts. Your habits, check-ins and test results are stored on your device. When you use AI features, the data needed for the request is processed by a trusted third-party AI provider through our secure server. We use an analytics service for product analytics, an error monitoring service for crash reports and diagnostics, a push notification service for push notifications if you allow them, and a subscription management service for subscriptions. We show no ads and never sell your data.
This Privacy Policy explains how Habit AI: Daily Tracker (“Habit AI” or “the App”) and its website habitai.teqergy.com handle information. The App is developed and published by Teqergy, an independent app studio based in Türkiye (“Teqergy”, “we”, “us”). Teqergy is the data controller for the personal data described below.
1. Information stored on your device
Your habits, routines, check-ins, streaks, statistics, reminders, settings and the answers and results of self-discovery tests are stored in a database on your device. We do not receive this data unless it is part of an AI request (see below). If you export a backup file, it is saved wherever you choose. If you enable iCloud backup or sync where the App offers it, the data is stored in your private iCloud account by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and we cannot access it.
2. AI features
When you ask Habit AI to analyze your habits or recommend new ones, the request is processed by a trusted third-party AI provider through our secure server. Only aggregated habit statistics and the goals you select are sent — never your name or contact details. This data is not used by us to train AI models; requests are rate-limited and are not stored on our server. AI output can be inaccurate and is not medical or psychological advice.
3. Self-discovery tests
Test answers and results (for example stress, anxiety level or personality type) are stored on your device and are meant for self-reflection only; they are not a diagnosis. They are included in an AI request only if you use an AI feature that relies on them.
4. Analytics and crash reports
We use an analytics service to understand how features are used (for example which screens are opened and which features are used). This service receives device and app information and a random pseudonymous identifier.
We use an error monitoring service to receive crash and error reports and diagnostics so we can find and fix problems. When an error occurs, this service may receive a screenshot of the app screen at the moment of the error, so it may show whatever was on screen at that time (for example your habits or check-ins). It also receives device and app information (such as device model, OS version and app version), the app events leading up to the error, and a random pseudonymous identifier.
We do not use these tools for advertising and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, we use a push notification service to deliver push notifications (for example reminders or product updates). This service receives a push token and basic device information. Reminders you set inside the App are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings › Notifications.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card or bank details. We use a subscription management service to check which purchases are active on your Apple ID so the App can unlock Premium features; this service receives purchase receipts and an app-specific purchaser ID. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID settings.
7. Service providers
We use the following processors to run Habit AI. Each receives only the data needed for its purpose.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party AI provider (via our secure server) | AI processing for coaching and recommendation features | Aggregated habit statistics and the goals you select; no name or contact details |
| Analytics service | Product analytics (how features are used) | In-app events such as screens viewed and features used, a pseudonymous identifier, app version, device model, OS version, and approximate location derived from your IP address |
| Error monitoring service | Crash and error reporting and diagnostics | Crash and error reports (stack traces and the app events leading up to an error), a screenshot of the app screen at the moment an error occurs (which may show what was on screen at that time), device model, OS version, app version, and IP address |
| Push notification service | Push notifications | Push token and push subscription ID, device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, IP address, and whether a notification was delivered or opened |
| Subscription management service | Subscription and purchase management | An app-specific purchaser ID, purchase receipts and transaction history, app version, device model and OS version, country/storefront |
| Apple | App Store purchases; iCloud (if you use it) | Purchase records; backups stored in your own iCloud account |
8. Legal bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the App and the features you ask for), on the basis of our legitimate interests (keeping the App secure, fixing crashes and understanding which features are used), and on the basis of your consent where it is required (for example push notifications, photo or microphone access, and location). You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS Settings.
9. How we share data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers. We share data only with the service providers listed in this policy, who process it on our behalf and only to provide their service, or when we are legally required to do so.
10. How long we keep data
Data on your device stays there until you delete it or delete the App. We don’t keep copies of your habits. AI requests are not stored on our server; the AI provider processes them to generate a response and may keep them only briefly under its own terms (for example, for abuse monitoring) before deleting them. Analytics and crash data, including any error screenshots, are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.
11. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or your explicit consent where required by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. These rights are provided by, among others, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK, Article 11) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise them, email hello@teqergy.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Because Habit AI has no accounts, we usually can’t link analytics or crash data to you by name. If you send us the identifier shown in the App’s settings (where available) or describe your request, we will do our best to find and delete related data.
13. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the higher minimum age that applies in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and rely on established providers that protect stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.
15. The website
The website habitai.teqergy.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising scripts and contains no forms. Our website hosting provider processes standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to deliver and secure the site.
16. Changes to this policy
We will update this page — and the “Last updated” date — before any material change takes effect. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will also tell you in the App.
